Sunday Sewing
Yes, I'm still committed to sewing every day in September.
Do you think I'll make it to the end of the month?
LOL
I can't believe how much fun I've been having with my silly endeavor.
On Friday I was cutting a layer cake of Blitzen by Basic Grey for Moda when my ruler decided it didn't want to play nice. LOL We simply weren't seeing eye to eye - I'd need to align it at 6.50" and instead it would be at 6.25" and I'd make my cut. aarrgghh!!! This happened not once, not twice but three times. LOL I walked away from the project until this evening. This pattern is also by Basic Grey and called Wrap It Up Quilt. Yes, more packages :-)
Another letter from the "Snowmen A to Zzzz" by Crabapple Hill Studio.... I - Icicles. Don't look too close - it was dripping wet. I'll post better pictures of these cute snowmen when I have a few more made and they've been pressed properly.I appreciate YOU!
In Friendship!

In July we saw Carol whipping up projects and now you are. I'd like some of whatever is in the water in AZ. Lol

More Christmas packages!! Go you. I am having a great time following along on you sew each day in September.
I had forgotten that you are doing those A to Zzzz blocks. That snowman better watch out or an icicle chunk will fall on his head.
Wish my embroidery skills were better! Your redwork is just the best. We will all cheer you on and you will make it to the end of the month, for sure.
Cute stuff Darlene. I'm totally impressed with you sewing everyday, good job.
Well worth the wait. Those embroidery pieces are just adorable. Looking forward to seeing how you will set them. Have a great Week!!

Your ruler was telling you that Sunday is a day of rest!! When I have sewing days like that, walking away is the right thing to do!
Your snowman quilt is going to be adorable!
Nothing is more frustrating than when your ruler won't behave.
Another great letter in the line up! I love them! I added you to my blog roll so that I don't miss any!!
