Spoolin' Around
(this is what Dawn called it - LOL)

Carol, Wendy, Judy, Dawn, Sharon & I have finished another block swap and we are thrilled with the results! The final five blocks arrived today and I couldn't wait to add the final two rows!!! We swapped these blocks for six months and the arrival of new blocks every month just made all of us giddy with the results - it just makes me smile :-) Swapping with these ladies has been a wonderful experience. Carol, Wendy, Judy, Sharon & I have swapped before - you might recall our 3" 30's rail fence blocks that we swapped last year. It was fun to have Dawn join us this time.

It's finished just the way it is - no border - just a nice dark binding to create a frame. Everyone else is almost finished with their quilts, as well, so stay tuned to their blogs.

Thanks for letting me share! And, I appreciate your visit - please come again soon & often.

In Friendship!

Darlene, It's a beauty, I love it. Sometimes a quilt doesn't want a border. I clicked on the photo to see how they were pieced. Very clever. How many did you have to make each month?

How fun to have such a neat group of gals to swap with. I bet the variety of fabrics is awesome having come from each person's stash. What will you do next?

It's just wonderful! What other pattern must we ALL do. I made one about a year ago, and it's still one of my favorites. THanks for the photo - I'll be watching for the final version. 8-)

That's a wonderful swap quilt. I'll bet you had so much fun putting it together. I am so fond of borderless quilts. These blocks are perfect for that.

I was just over at Quilt Hollow where she posted about her surprise. It's beautiful! What a very sweet thing to do.
