My friend, Lucy and I were busy this morning working on this cutie. It's just quilted with a dense all-over design. The binding is waiting in the wings to be applied. WooHoo! Can you guess what I'll be working on tonight while we watch the baseball game? :-)
I believe I made this last fall and it's been in the pile of flimsies. Last week end I scored backing fabric at 30% off so I knew it would have to be quilted very, very soon. It's a Moda University pattern and I used a fat quarter bundle called Buttercream and Figs (the pattern featured the Sonnet collection)

That's a really pretty quilt! Congratulations on another completed project.
Let me guess - you'll be stitching down binding tonight? That's very pretty!
Gosh that's yummy! Super duper yummy!
How dare you making this beauty, while I'm sleeping ???? LOL This quilt is sooo lovely, Darlene! You have such a talent, dear !
(It makes me think of a splendid pavement, I saw in the "Sixtine Chapel")...
Darlene + Moda = a winner combination !

I thought that fabric looked familiar and when you named it I was going, 'Yes', I do remember. I loved that collection but didn't have much of it. You made such a pretty quilt from it!
Oh yes, I love it! And guess what! I sandwiched my Darlene/Nicole challenge quilt today! But don't panic - I made mine really small, and it is a gift so I have to get it done! But I won't spoil the surprise!
Oh Wow! Oh Wow! I really really like this one. What a beauty boy have you been busy.
OMG!!! Quick, I need a drool bucket... I looove your quilt!
It is so beautiful. It looks like a very easy pattern to do, and now I am playing with the tought of using my Moda Chocolate fabrics to make a "similar" one. (if I can find my fabrics again LOL)
That's gorgeous, Darlene! My Buttercream fabric has been haunting me lately. Might be time to dig it out and get to cutting!
Great job! It's beautiful!
Another beautiful finish. Congratulations!
Very nice! You know for a girl who loves jewel tones I sure have been drawn to the softer shades lately. I almost bought a FQ group from that collection a while back. Sure wish I'd bought it now.
Love the colours in this one. Another gorgeous project:)
You have done it again Darlene. I think your use of the Buttercream and Figs group is even better with this particular pattern than the Sonnet collection. Brilliant, and beautiful!
A beautiful quilt, I really love the subdued and natural colours!
I really like your quilt!!!! Thanks for sharing!

That's beautiful, Darlene. Another WINNER!
Way to go! It's a very pretty quilt.
This one turned out beautifully! I seem to remember you posting about this one when you were just making the blocks. Pat yourself on the back for sticking with it to this stage and not leaving it as a UFO!
Very pretty little quilt -- simple in design but so nice. I don't think I have seen that fabric line -- Buttercream and Figs - what a wonderful name for fabric.
Wonderful! I love that Buttercream and Figs collection - I think I got quite a few pieces plus a couple charm packs. This is a simple but very striking quilt.
Binding is just the best - especially when you can work on it and watch a great movie or a baseball game. It looks great.
You picked wonderful fabric to go in this quilt. I had seen it with other fabric and I love how you did yours. Isn't great when you get to the binding, almost done. Congrats!
Wow! Another yummy quilt, a usual! I love the pattern.
You go Darlene! Is there a countdown going on? I seem to remember you had "several" flimsies. This one is a beauty!
Great quilt Darlene!
I wish I could come and have a sewing week with you. You are so fast :-)
