What to do, what to do?????
1. 16 Patches with 4 Patches in straight setting with Apron Strings by Moda.
I don't like to have more than one project in the works - it makes me crazy. I much prefer to work on one project at a time, clean up my mess and move on to the next project. So, why do I have not one, not two, not three but FOUR projects in various stages? Ugh! I was working this morning and all of these projects were dancing around in my head. And, to top it off I want to start yet another project - I'm out of my mind! (hey, I heard that!)

2. Half Square Triangles for border on Sanctuary strippy quilt.
3. Cherries Jubilee charm squares project
4. Celebrate Spring Fat Quarter Challenge (sorry, no pics)
I spent yesterday afternoon cleaning my sewing room - what a mess!!!!!! So, I need to pull just one of these projects and work on it till it's completed. Bet you'd agree with that decision but which project????
What to do, what to do????? :-)

Oooooh, my friend ! I certainly won't be helpful, as I keep asking myself the same question, for dayyyyyys, now !
I'm afraid the only answer is to keep singing it together : "Hey, what to do ? What to do ? What to do, do, do, do do ?????" LOL
((HUGS))
Nadine (who is out of her mind, as well, as she dares thinking about a NEW project ! ? ! ?...)
Such a dilemma as they are all so gorgeous! I'd work on whichever one is nearest to finished.
At least that would be the plan but you know how it is..........?
I vote for Cherries Jubilee for no reason other than I like the name of the fabric.
Yup...I have the same problem. I would work on the one that brings you the most amount of joy. Or if there is a deadline then that's the one!
Only four? You're my hero!
I agree with Leigh - do the one that's closest to finished. But don't listen to me because (1) I don't follow my own advice and (2) no one else listens to me! LOL
They're all beautiful!
I like to work on more than one project at a time but it makes me crazy to have multiple projects in the block stage. I do best when I've only got one piecing project going at a time....and one being quilted...and one being bound.
Now - that's a hard one. I think if it was me, I would pick the one that was closest to being finished. But I like the Cherries Jubilee fabric. I am looking forward to seeing the challenge quilts that you are doing with the Celebrate Spring fabric. I love the Sanctuary fabric. Hmmm, was that helpful - LOL.
Happy Quilting!
Hmmmm.... That problem sound soooo familiar! And I can see why you are in a dilemma, seeing your lovely projects. I'm going to be a bit prosaic and agree with Leigh and Pam - work on the one closest to beeing finished first, then you can enjoy the feeling of acomplishment while you work on the others :o)
Have lots of fun! Quilty hugs :o)
Not sure which one you should work on first. I like how the quilt in the top photo looks... very nice.
I can't help - I always have several in progress projects... I'd be asking that question if I were ever forced to do 1 project at a time...
Oh boy. I am the worst person to give an answer! I have nine projects in the works right now. If it were me, I would give priority to the project with the deadline! lol
All very cute, as usual, Darlene. I can really only piece one project at a time or my poor little pea brain goes on overload! I'm going to have to agree with Leigh and suggest finishing the one that's closest to completion. A quicker finish will spur you on to finish the next and the next and the next!
I know this feeling well~! I think Cherries Jubilee would be fun to see finished!
I agree with Pam and say that you choose the one that is closest to completion. Then you'll be motivated by it being a job well done, then you can fall in love all over again with your second project. ^_-
How about if you just draw a name out of a hat? This from the girl that has way too many irons in the fire . . . and lovin' every minute of it.
Hi Darlene, LOL, I'm afraid I wouldn't be much help, I'm as bad as it gets about starting new stuff instead of finishing up stuff.
BUT..if I were voting..*VBS*, I'd vote for the Cherries Jubilee. Love all the projects and what a fabulous challenge..what fun! Hugs, Finn
Ahhhh, I have that problem! I just work on whatever I feel like! Whatever makes me happy is my motto!
When I read the intro to this blog about how you like working on one project at a time, I was thinking that that explains why you are so productive and get so many things done. I was also thinking that I need to be hanging out with you more, so that some of that rubs off on me. But it seems like the opposite is happening, and we are rubbing off on you! Sorry.
I generally work on the one that has matching thread and/or the correct foot in the sewing machine. Then when the bobbin is out, I can choose something else that is calling me louder.
Put the names in a hat, pick one and work on that. I've done this before with my UFOs. Of course it took a MUCH bigger hat to hold the names. LOL!
I'm the EXACT same way about wanting to focus on one project at a time. It hurts my brain when I see other unfinished projects. So now I have a new cupboard for the UFO's. It helps... but i SWEAR I can hear them taunting me... "Sew me.... set me... I only need two more borders... "
Pick the one closest to being finished!!
Oh gee, Darlene - why should you be any different than the rest of us? Our bad habits are just starting to rub off on you!
