Sewing a Bit :-)
Last night I was digging for something not quilting related and I came across a ziplock bag with 19 different 2" 30's strips. Goodness only knows what they were going to be and at this point it doesn't matter! LOL I had a BIG lightbulb moment - these would make really cute 9 patches. All I had to do was find some white yardage - cut a handful of strips and get busy. I can get four 9 patches from each strip so when I finish I'll have 76 9 patches. I don't have a plan but this was something I didn't have to think about - I could just sew. I managed to sew for a bit last night and it sure felt good - AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Now, I'm hoping that I'll be in the mood again later today. I'm wanting to made a surprise quilt for a friend so this might fit the bill. Something to think about.

You're sewing again! Hooray! I knew you would find your sewing self again! Welcome back!
Perfect little project that will make up quicker than Jack Flash! Good that you were digging around, Gail.
Good going, they look great. When I started quilting I used to look at 30s prints and go YUK. Now I love them - how our tastes change...
Who needs a plan - I love nine patch blocks and quilts. There are lots of layouts you can use once you get the blocks done.
What a lucky find! Have fun with them!
Your back again..... I knew it. The ninepatches rescued you.

Yay! Good for you. Gotta love nine-patches.
I love nine patches and in those fabrics they are fabulous.
See? Mindless sewing will get you out of a slump. 9 patches are my favorite block.
Ooooooohhhhh, you're sewing again and you're sewing with my favourite fabrics! Those look lovely - can't wait to see what you do with them. I used some 1930's fabrics and alternated the blocks with applique hearts - I needed my 9-patches to go a little further.
Hugs for your day and once again, it is nice to see that you are sewing.
hurray for you Darlene! cute 9 patches and so many different ways to use them in a quilt setting-mindless sewing is so often a great way to get your quilty motor going...and I can just feel the joy in your words...keep singing that happy song whilst you stitch away...with a little help from my friends...yay! yay!
