It's Time!
Having to pull out the old rake again to clean my sewing room. Every surface has a pile of stuff and now I'm piling on the floor. AARRGGHH!!!
I was telling my Sweetie this morning that I was going to rake my room again and he said I sure have a lot of weeds. I seem to be raking very often lately. LOL I have to admit that he's right. :-)
The past few months my sewing machine has not seen much action. I've really been enjoying plying my needle and thread by hand however my sewing machine has been tugging my heartstrings. So, I'm hoping that after I rake out the mess I'll feel very inspired to pull out a machine project. I have two projects that are very near completion however maybe I need a new project. HMMM - something to ponder while I'm raking. :-)
I knew I could count on YOU!!!!!! Thank you, thank you so much for all the great ideas you left yesterday regarding my little stitchery project. I should have it finished very soon and I'll post a picture.
Enjoy your Friday! And, thank you for popping in!
In Friendship!

*lol* The image sounds very familiar! Only here the piles are all over the living room... Best of luck on your raking of the sewing room!

Have a great weekend, Darlene!

Will you send the rake to my house when you're done...I need to do some raking.

I am imagining you in your room raking up the stacks of fabrics and putting them in a big bushel basket. :-) It's just part of the package, I suppose, goes hand and hand with the cutting & piecing. Happy raking!

I too need to do a clean up job in my sewing room. I dread going in there lately because it is so cluttered. Maybe I will join you in this task over the weekend.

I commented but I think it's gone. :-(

I find that a snow shovel works a little better than the rake in my room!

I cleaned out the sewing room about a month ago and it has remained fairly clean but then I have been mostly just working on a couple of projects and also doing some computer work so I haven't hauled piles out yet! That will probably come soon!

I like your stitchery as it is. I don't think you need to add anything to it.

I can understand the need for raking. My sewing room is getting close to that step too. Perhaps after I retreat this weekend I'll clean it up.

I know that "pile syndrome". There's a bad case of it in my sewing room as well.

Well my area just got cleaned up and thanks to having a guild meeting yesterday it is still clean :) ( for now). I've been looking at some of your recent posts and just love the little 9 patches and all the embroidery pieces. I just can't seem to do embroidery anymore I must be so out of practice. But If I press on and finish the hsts and cut the next I may have to try again tonight to try the Chocolate sayings. Enjoy your weekend

I think there's inspirations to be found in organizing . . . you are quickly reminded of things that have been tucked away in the nooks and crannies . . . enjoy *s*

At least you can rake yours - I think I need a controlled burn on mine!

I think that someone comes in at night to muddle in my sewing room. I don't think I can make that much mess myself. Do you think they might be at your house too?
