#5 - Bennington enjoys the 12 Days of Christmas

The first time I saw 12 Day of Christmas by Kate Spain for Moda I was instantly smitten. I'm receiving the Designer Mysery blocks every month from The Fat Quarter Shop featuring The 12 Days of Christmas but I wanted to do something to be enjoyed this Christmas. The colors are vivid, bright and refreshing. I used the snowflake white tone-on-tone for the background and it does look a bit 'flat' but I believe it'll come alive when it's quilted.

Another huge thank you for your stopping by and your sweet comments and compliments. I appreciate YOU.

I think you're right, the quilting will bring the white alive. Quilting makes a difference for how the quilt looks when done. Love the bright fresh colours.

That is the pattern I made for Carrie's book! I love it in the Christmassy fabric. It is such fun to see your parade of projects from the book.

I really love all the big schnibbles you are making. I am just working with 12 days too, but I am going with a blackbackground.

What can I say other than you're amazing! Another beautiful creation.

I hope that you're coming up for air once and food in a while...or should I have written food first?
