BOM Craziness
*
I spent Sunday with my sewing machine :-)
*
First I made the October and November blocks for the Designer Mystery Block of the Month. All six blocks are assembled with cornerstones and sashing. woohoo! :-)

I stitched the latest Annie blocks (Aug & Sept) by Cleo & Me and spent Sunday sewing the 30's strips around the stitcheries. woohoo!

And I finished stitching the Snowbound blocks by Bunny Hill Designs for Kelly(red) and Terry (blue). They should have been in the mail on Monday but I've been a bit lazy. They WILL go out tomorrow. :-)

So, I'm feeling a bit smug with myself because I'm caught up. BIG Woohoo!!!!!
*
I hope you're having a good week. I still find it hard to believe that we're only one week away from Thanksgiving Day - sigh!
*
Thank you bunches & bunches for stopping by to visit. Come again soon.
*
In Friendship!
*
oh no - I've lost a follower :-(
I know you've been following a very boring blog - I'm so sorry.

I have seen a few others doing the designer BOM. It is really cute when finished. I am glad you are caught up, because I was going to ask you to help me finish a few things ;o) Just kidding. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! May your turkey be moist and the tryptophan make you sleep well!

Love all your BOM's! You are doing great. I sometimes get into a sewing and blogging slump! Then all of a sudden, I get my mojo back! Who knows why this happens! Sometimes I guess we get tired and worn out! Or we are overwhelmed with too many responsibilities! You worked hard on your projects and now you can take it easy! Or sew something just because!!! Hugs Ariane

Great job on the finishs. I only have one block done on my Mystery Designer. I need to get busy. You put me to shame.

Darlene, You just make me so proud!!! All caught up!!! Oh my, and I am so far behind. UGH! That's okay, I can share in your joy, yup, that's what I'll do. I just seems that every time I head for the sewing room, my hubby says, HEY! Let's run look at this, I'm going to the store, your coming with me aren't you??? Nannnccccyyyy...where do you want this picture hung??? ah, you get the idea! My sewing room has been ready to rock and roll for two weeks now and I have finished one holiday wall hanging...ONE, and a very small one at that. Ah well, no matter. After 43 years of marriage, he is my best friend, parner in crime, and shoulder to cry on. He is my touchstone...! Okay, enough of that...All of your finished blocks are wonderful, I do hope I can get to some of mine very, very soon. However, my new computer is arriving today so the learning curve begins. Hopefully I can catch on to the new system quickly and be back to the things I need to do. In the meantime, keep the pictures of your finishes coming!!!
Big Hugs...

Lorraine said...

wow....you go girl......I need to catch up on some kits/boms I have had for way too long....maybe when I have holidays next year...which isn't so far away now.....this year has gone in a flash!

Sinta Renee said...

Congratulations on getting caught up with yourself! Your projects are so darn cute!

Deb said...

Oh, you're so lucky that you're caught up with your BOM. I wish I could say the same. I had done so well, then got sick and was down and out for about 10 days, and now I'm behind...but then why am I doing 4 different BOM's? I'm now caught back up with one, and working on the others...but one of them I'm about 4 months behind now, the others if I can get November's done before month end, I'll be caught back up. I'm now actually looking forward to them being over so I can work on something else!
