Happy Everything!
*
I've been searching for a perfect gift for a handful of very special bloggy friends who always remember me at Christmas, my birthday or simply share their talent with me. I'm not as good a friend to them as they are to me because while I remember them on special occasions I'm not good at sending something on time. I do have the best of intentions but you know the road is paved with good intentions. :-)
*
I discovered Ivonne at The Crackling Crows and her delightful banners and immediately contacted her about making "QUILTS" banners for my friends. After discussing colors and such she got busy - even locating the special quilt stencils to use on each end (can you say perfect?)

Pictures from Ivonne's blog - she's an incredibly talented photographer, as well.
*
I can't tell you who these are for but do you think they will know based on the colors? teehee! I hope they will be pleasantly surprised and excited to receive a small "Happy Everything" gift from me.
*
Please take a few minutes to visit Ivonne at The Crackling Crows- her banners are incredible!!! And, working with her is truly a delight. Tell her I sent you. :-)
*
One more thing - soon I will be celebrating my 5th Blogiversary (yes, five years!!!) and I will be giving away a "QUILTS" banner so stay tuned. :-)
*
Thank you for continuing to pop in to visit with me - I love and enjoy all your comments and ask that you continue to bear with me I hope to blog on a more regular basis soon.

*

Thank you again, my friends!

In Friendship!

Love the banners! What a sweet gift. I wasn't able to connect to Ivonne's website though...is that just me or is there a problem with the hyperlink. Would love to see more of her work. Thanks, Darlene for sharing quilty inspiration.

OH MY GOSH!!! 5 years??? And to think I only found your blog about 8 months ago *hanging head in shame*...I found you in time to see your marathon Schnibbles finishes though. But in all fairness to me, I just started quilting 3 years ago and last year was a total bust, I made one very large quilt and one very small quilt (the quilt along using your patter *wink*) and two small Christmas projects. No gifts, nada *sigh*. Well, my Wonder Quilter, I will be watching for your blogiversary so that I can give my speech. Now I'm hopping over to check out "The Crackling Crows", I love those banners! Big Hugs coming to you...

You are so thoughtful, Darlene...always thinking of others.

The banners are wonderful and would make a beautiful contribution to anyone's sewing room/studio.

I can appreciate how difficult it must be to juggle job time, computer time, sewing time and family time. No matter how often or seldom, your posts always brighten my day.
