Cutting Up!

:-)

About two weeks ago I told you I'd found the 'magic beans' - you know THE beans I needed to help my sputtering MOJO. I had a minor set back but yesterday I decided it was time to start cutting up. Yep, I pulled out two Jelly Rolls and an older Layer Cake and got busy! I'd hoped to cut a few more but time got away from me.

Now what, you ask? I do have some plans. teehee!!! My sewing room is a total disaster area so when I get home from work today I'm going do some much needed tidying up. If it's tidy I'm more apt to get in there and sew a bit on a more regular basis. Wouldn't you agree? Time will tell - LOL.

Strawberry Fields by Fig Tree (Moda)- YUM

Oh my I can't remember what this is called but it was a yummy Layer Cake!

Dagnabbit I forgot to post the picture of Oasis Jelly Roll by 3 Sisters!

Next time.

Have a wonderful day.

In Friendship!!!

I've found that cleaning the room and finding the table top makes sewing much easier! Good Luck.

Yea! It's wonderful to read that you are in your sewing room again. A bit of mystery on your part:) FYI That fabric is Portobello Market by 3 Sisters. I love that line!

Gorgeous fabrics to play with, Darlene! I agree, a tidy work area is easier to set foot into :) Mine is so small I really have to keep it up, but it is never pristine, that's for sure.

I always do better in a clean room - though sometimes it takes me a bit to realize that. Your project looks like fun!

I'm with you Darlene, I cannot create in chaos - every single project I make, I do a huge tidy up after! Otherwise I'd never come in here, lol.

Love the Strawberry Fields fabrics! That is going to make up so nice in the pattern. I didn't have enough on hand to use that group but I had thought about it. I am just getting my Simple Pleasures started.

The unknown layer cake looks like Portobello to me.
I don't need a tidy sewing room to work in until it gets really out of of control. That is just me, though. Glad you found those magic beans.

Darlene, I'm so happy you're cutting some new projects and getting back in the saddle. I'm so far behind on everything, including reading my favorite blogs, Congratulations on 5 years of blogging. That is an amazing accomplishment! Best Wishes to you.
