Another Update!

This has definitely been a long week but with some results and light at the end of the tunnel. I will spare you all the details because I'm sure it's a big YAWN to everyone. :-) In approximately 30 days Mr Daze will receive a pacemaker type device that will improve the efficiency of his heart. We have to wait 30 days to allow his heart to heal from the attack. In the meantime he'll be wearing a 'life vest' to monitor his heart and hopefully prevent another attack. We're hoping that he'll be fitted with the 'life vest' sometime today and then he can come home.

Mr Daze, our family and I want to thank you so much for all the kind words, healing thoughts and prayers you sent our way. They are more appreciated that I can express via the written word.

In Friendship!

Oh it will be so good to have Mr. Daze at home. He'll get lots more rest...and when he rests make sure you rest! Still sending lots of good thoughts and prayers.

I don't think anyone's health could ever be a yawn. Thank goodness your hubby is able to get a pacemaker and hopefully get back to a normal life. I'm sure this has been, and will continue to be for a while, a stressful time for you. But you do have quilting, and lots of friends in blog land sending you hugs, and prayers for your husband.

I am so glad you at least have some answers and direction to go!! My dad is 89 years old and has had a special pacemaker with a defibulator for many years and it is such a blessing to know he is in good hands with this device. You will be resting much easier soon, and so will Mr. Daze.!!

Oh good - those pacemakers are fabulous! Don has had one for four years and it has made a big difference. It is amazing what modern science can do.

And always feel free to share, we all love to hear all the news - and it never is a yawn. Hugs to you both.

So glad to hear that hubby is on his way to recovery... he has a lot of healing time ahead, so you'll have to be a good nurse and do lots of stitching while you watch him!

thanks for letting us know-keeping up the prayers and good thoughts, hoping the pacemaker will do the trick and you guys can get back to life as usual soon.

I'm keeping you guys in prayer hon, my mom has a pacemaker and it has been a lifesaver - I hope Mr. Daze can come home quick, you know he'll get more rest and heal quicker! Big hugs to you!

This is good news! :)

I had a thought the other day, Miss Dar. (I get them every so often...) It's amazing how things work out. If my Mom had been released on Saturday night instead of Sunday morning, you might have been sitting with her or on your way home instead of being with Mr. Daze.

Take good care and tell Mr. Daze that he has to get better to "win". :)
