Christmas Stitching and Such

Yes, the man of the house is home and resting comfortably. As I look to my left I see him sitting in his recliner with his heart monitor (aka ALF - a little friend) and his pal Cooper. :-) So, for now it's not all about him. Whew! LOL

Can you believe it's already October 1st - seriously????? That means that Christmas is less than 90 days away - seriously????? The time has come to start a ton of planned Christmas stitching for gifts and such. I used a super cute Christmas tin to gather embroidery needles, scissors, DMC #321 and the first project already in my hoop.

I need to do a little shopping for some cute Christmas fabric to help complete said planned projects.

Have you been 'Naughty or Nice'? Are you on my Christmas list? What's your wish? :-)

Enjoy your Saturday - if you need me I'll be propped stitching the day away while watch game 1 of the baseball play offs. Go D'backs!

Thank you again for being such wonderful friends!

In Friendship!

Darlene, I'm so glad Mr. Daze is home resting, which means you are also resting and it sounds like you will be doing some serious stitching too. I'm not a big sports fan, but I do love the playoffs and the World Series...great fun to watch while you work on a project. Speaking of projects, thanks for that bit of "SHOCK Therapy" letting us know that Christmas is less than 90 days away. My gosh, we have been so busy and dealing with health issues etc that I honestly hadn't thought about it in terms of how close it was getting...WOW!!! What's my wish, it would honestly be for good health and a big cup of happiness for all those I know and care about including myself and my hubby. I know, is sounds kind of 'Sappy' but it's true. Of course, fabric is good too, LOL! Big hugs coming your way sweet friend. Now get off this computer and stitch away!

Well - no news is good news, as they say.

Of course - I've been nice, I mean naughty -oops. Well, for my wish - I wish to always be your friend - nothing in the world is better - and I wish Mr. QD continues to improve.

Oh Darlene - I'm so happy to hear that Mr. Daze is home - and is okay. I do hope that the monitor he gets in 30 days will make him all healthy again :) Okay, I always get in trouble when I come here - that pattern is too cute! What's the name of it? I'm so glad to see you enjoying some relaxing stitching girl - you deserve it! Hugs!

So so glad Mr. Daze is home where he can be constantly supervised while you stitch away!

I can't think about Christmas now, I'll think about Christmas later (said a la Scarlett O'Hara)...

Sorry about the D-backs....Maybe tomorrow. But the Phillies won!

I have a countdown calendar on my Christmas blog ..... 85 days left. I work on something Christmas all year long and am I close to ready? NO. The more I think about it, the more I want to make. Instead of my list getting shorter, it gets longer!

Good luck with shortening your list!

It is nice to hear he is home and comfy in his chair...behaving!

Let me see...you said 90 days...what?! CRAPOLA...I'm already behind and all those promises I told myself last January that I would get so much more done. Yeah right!

Just yesterday was out and about and found that the department stores are all in full on Christmas mode! Seriously....I think you could find Fall tucked in the back somewhere....but ornaments, trees, and do-dads galore as soon as you walk into these big chain stores! Crazy!!! Enjoy your day stitching.

The life vest sounds so cool and also like it could give you some piece of mind as well. I'm glad to hear Mr. Daze is safe at home with you. I have my BOM blocks out to work on at my retreat... I need to catch up too. So I am going to be right behind you!
I have to tell you that my son's girlfiend is the Asst. GM for the minor league Dimondback team. They are already planning on going to the World Series/no matter who's in it.
