Adjusting!

Have you missed Darlene? Has it really been two weeks since she visited with you? She hasn't had much to blog about :-( Actually, she's been peeking over your shoulders but sadly not leaving many comments. She's sorry!

She flew to Texas, packed up some of her mom's personal belongings, loaded up her car and they drove to AZ on Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Long drive but good.

This is a new journey with adjustments for all - especially her mom. There have been a few bumps in the road but for the most part things are going well. She's really been enjoying seeing her greatgrands, Seth, Eli and Shaye

Can't seem to find or make time to sew but she's been doing lots of Christmas stitching. She's planning to finish up a handful of giftees this week so she can get them to the post office.

If you're still visiting - thank you for sticking with her (us). She appreciates you more than can be expressed via the written word. Come again soon.

In Friendship!

Wabbit Gang, you better look after Darlene, and make sure she enjoys her time with her family...even if there are a few bumps in the road.

Hey there!
I've had you and your family on mind and just knew that adjustments were being made which also brings less computer time for Darlene. :-)
It's the holidays....no stressing!!!

Absolutely we at Shakerwood have missed Darlene. But we knew she was making the trek with mom in tow and that can be a very scary thing. Hope Darlene and Mr. Daze are taking care of themselves as well!

Oh yes, I've missed her a lot - and just was wondering about all the great things that you wabbits are doing to help her out - I'm so sure that you are being good and not careening around the house in that lovely wagon. Right? Right!! I knew you would be helpful!

Oh yes, Darlene has been missed!!! We know about the caregiving part. My hubby's family has been caring for their 90 year old mother for 3 years. She now has Parkinson's and is very weak, but has been blessed to be able to stay in her own home because her children give her round the clock care. Take care Darlene. Tell the bunnies we miss them too :-)

Hey Gang! Happy to see a post and Darlene and her family are doing okay. We've missed her out here in blogland but understand that family comes first and it's a busy time of year.

Thanks for the update, dear Wabbits! I'm sure all the adjustments are even more challenging with the holidays, but hopefully all will work out. Hope to see more of you soon.

Good thing that Darlene has the Wabbit Gang to let us know what is going on. Is Mom staying with you from now on?

Always wonderful to have you pop in! No quilting is needed, just nice to hear you are well and... adjusting.

Hi Mrs. Daze! :::big wave!:::

Bumps are good. If the road is too smooth we stop paying attention and set the cruise-control, right? :)

Thinking of you!

Holiday greetings from the chilly Midwest. Warm wishes for patience and understanding and peace and strength that's needed for care giving. Your quilting friends enjoying hearing from you, but we understand that your focus is family, and there's precious little free time at this time of the year.
Hugs from Iowa.
