I'm a bit late with this post today but it's not too late for you to hop on board the Christmas Through The Year Train!

Some might say it's too soon to start thinking about Christmas 2012 but it's not. In November you'll be singing your own praises and patting yourself on the back because you'll have a box, basket or drawer full of Christmas gift for friends and family.

Time has a way of getting away from us - look it's already the middle of February! Whew!!!! I hope you've either started working on or completed a gift (or two).

To entice and encourage you Cheryl has made a delightfully sweet organizer as a prize for February. See we're not just shaking our pom-poms, jumping for joy and making up Christmas cheers! LOL

Thank you so much for all the get well wishes - this cruddy bug really hit me hard. I'm finally starting to feel human again - horrible cough is almost gone and I won't disgust you with details about my nose and tissues. LOL

Yesterday my sweet hubby Ron and I celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary! OK, not much celebrating and partying but we did get out for dinner. I love you, Ron - thank you for sticking with and by me for 35 years.

I can't promise that I'll love you for the rest of your life but I can promise that I'll love you for the rest of mine. xoxoxoxoxo

That's all I've got, my friends, thank you for sticking with this boring blog!

In Friendship!

I'm dismayed to hear you describe your blog as boring. I have followed you for several years now, and always look forward to your posts. Pat yourself on the back for me, and keep up the good work!

What do you mean boring blog!! There's lots of good stuff going on here. Christmas, anniversaries, and quilting. What more can a girl want?

Happy 35th Anniversary!!!!! That is an amazing milestone!

I was feverishly working on a gift for my dad and stepmom's 30th wedding anniversary during January and part of February, when my step-sister told me they're not doing gifts for our parents, but money. So I decided the anniversary gift will become a Christmas gift, and I will finish it as my first gift this month. So that was a surprise step ahead, and I hope to finish another Christmas gift by the end of the month too.

Glad you're feeling better and congrats on 35 wonderful years! My hubby and I will celebrate 33 on 2/17, and like you our celebrating will consist of going out to dinner....old and boring now.

Congratulations to your 35 years, Darlene! I hope you are feeling better. As far as Christmas gifts, I am so on the ball! I have 2 made and 2 more waiting in the wings. I should have 4 gifts done for this month. AWESOME!

Happy Anniversary! Please don't say your blog is boring. We wouldn't be here if it was.

Please, please do not use the word "boring" when describing your blog. You may not create heart-thumping excitement with every post you write, and you may be scratching around for a topic now and then, but every blogger inspires someone who may never tell us so. Every one of us can brighten the day of someone who needs a diversion from the life she/he is living. Never boring, my dear.
DH and I will celebrate 40 years this summer, and maybe this year I'll finish an anniversary quilt I'd hoped to give to DH on our 35th. (ouch--a 5-year-old UFO)

Congratulations and Happy Anniversary!!!! Darlene, your blog is never boring, you couldn't be boring if you tried. I'm so glad to hear you're on the mend....

I was thinking yesterday [when I heard it would snow today] that spring is roughly a month away. I think I can hold out that long. But that also means that this year is flying by, and we know it will fly faster the closer we get to the end of it! So glad you're piloting the Christmas train!
