Wrapping and Tagging

I'm in the process of wrapping and tagging Christmas packages.  I'm not very creative about that entire process - wrap it, tag it, put it under the Christmas tree.  Christmas paper and tags - that's it.  LOL :-)
I have to show you some extremely creative use of a tags!
Wendy's (Snippets of a Quilter)  blog post on Saturday showed some adorable Christmas ornaments that she stitched using this fabulous variety of tags found here.
Last year I received a Christmas gift from Wendy with the Gingerbread Man tag attached.
Of course, I kept it. :-)

Carol (Brown Quilts 4 Me)  got very creative last year and used the same tag to make this sweet woolie Gingerbread Man.

Maybe you'll get more creative with wrapping and tagging than I do.  :-)

Friday's horrific events in Newtown have left me numb and angry.  Please take a few minutes out of every day to (hug) your loved ones (young and old).

Make your day Merry and Bright.

In Friendship!

Not much creativity for my packages, either, Darlene! Love the tags you showed from some other creative folks :)

The Sandy Point horror is just so sickening, it is hard to watch or even read about.

Cute tags! I have been embroidering them and just talked to a friend this morning who was going to try them in wool. Great minds and all that! LOL Have a wonderful day!

Very cute tags....I am definitely not a creative wrapper or rapper for that matter :-)!! Just our thoughts are with those in Newtown.

Oh I'm glad someone else just wraps and tags. I do no bows, nothing fancy. I'm boring like that. No one in my family appreciates the "fancy" effort so why bother.

The tragedy at Sandy Hook on Friday... I have no words. Even though it happened 80 miles west of where I am in the state, it is still too close to home.

Any attempts I make to try to be creative with tags--they end up looking amateurish. I've given up trying. These examples are winners!
One of my favorite inventions of the last couple decades is the gift bag (with attached tag) -- it's pretty failproof, as long as I have tissue paper, and that I have.

Tags? You mean writing the name on the wrapping paper with a Sharpie isn't the way everybody does it? Uh-oh.

I'm thinking that kind of explains the coal I keep getting every year... ;)

Glad you're back!

I didn't stitch the gingerbread tag, I better get on that. We both must have known something.

I knew we were related! I'm a wrapper/tagger, too! And I am a terrible wrapper. It's funny how I can miter those binding corners but I can't fold over wrapper paper neatly on the sides of packages to save my life! If I wad it up and put enough tape on it, it usually stays shut!!

I'm like you girlie...if it gets even a tag on it, I feel like I've done pretty good!

How bad am I ? I actually make all my gift tags on the computer (fancy lettering and all) and then print them out on Avery Label sheets.
Go ahead, kick me. LOL

Hubby always buys bows and ribbons and only my presents get them. I just can't be bothered; especially when the gifts are just going to get torn into lol.
