Another one bites the dust!

If you've read my blog on regular basis you know that I love to sing "Another One Bites the Dust" when I've completed a project. :-) Do you suppose that Freddy Mercury smiles when I do that? LOL

The past week has been incredibly stressful in my household so when I get stressed I sew! It's such a terrific destresser - I just get lost in the hum of my sewing machine. AHHHHH Thirty five 25 patches pieced and assembled - WooHoo. I used a fat quarter bundle called Spring Spring by Me and My Sister Designs for Moda

I got e-mail notification that my Picket Fences charm pack has been shipped so hopefully I get that project finished at the end of the week.

Wait till you see what I have planned for the next stack of charm packs. Chocolat prints and plaids - YUM!

Oooooh, I do like how that turned out Darlene! I've got a nice pile of Chocolat fabrics sitting out that I haven't cut into yet. The anticipation is half the fun!

Thank you, thank you for the tutorial on the charm packs. I have several and have not done much with them except wiffle through them and dream about putting them together somehow! This is such a great idea. Your finished top is just lovely.

Absolutely adorable quilt! I've started a new challenge for myself and I was partially inspired by your charm square four patches. Thanks!

Oh I love it Darlene! I'm making 16 patches this weekend in a class. Not that I need a class to make 16 patches but a friend is teaching it so I'm going just for fun!

Love the quilts you have done in the past few weeks. Just fabulous Darlene. Do you buy your charm packs from Fat Quarter Shop? The quilts are all so happy and pleasing!

Now lets see how you are going to quilt them!
