The Polka Dot Girls

These ladies have been living in my embroidery hoop for the past few days and I've finally released them. I hope they make you smile - I've actually giggled a couple of times. :-)

Stay tuned because they are many more to come - this is a pattern by Bronwyn Hayes/Red Brolly called "The Polka Dot Girls". According to the pattern I was suppose to use different floss colors but I decided that I wanted them to be just red (DMC #304).

I hope that you've been enjoying your needle and thread! As always I love it that you stop by to visit - please feel free to leave a comment.

In Friendship!

The saying on your embroidery really says it all. Bronwyn's stitcheries are so much fun and always make me smile. Which one of these ladies are you? I bet the one with her arms wide open ready for a really big hug.

Oh my, they are so cute all in red, too ! Great idea, Darlene, as usual. Are you going to make a stitchery quilt with them all?

Hugs & smiles to you !

I love that! Can you tell me where I can find that pattern? I would love to stitch that for a couple of friends for Christmas.

So cute! You did a great job. Where do you find Bronwyn's patterns in the states? I have trouble locating them.

I love those ladies! I'm still drooling over that stitchery magazine I bought a while back. I just love your work! I've been thinking of you all week and wondering what beautiful projects you've been up too! Yesterday it rained, I opened the front door to listen to the music while I studied! I hope you're getting some kool weather in your neck of the woods! I love your block! thanks for sharing! Keep well!

OK, what connection do YOU have? I haven't been able to find Bronwyn's patterns here in the US, and the "Tea for Two" is out of print.

HELP!

I received old "country threads" magazines this week with some projects form Bronwyn. I was thinking of starting one of them. You were faster! The women are lovely. I am curious to see what you will make with them. Take care.
