Blogland Happenings!

There is so much happening in blogland - it truly boggles the mind.
HMMMM - Thimbles and Joy have been having way too much fun in my sewing room! This should keep them in check - until, of course, their DH (Devious Hero) comes along and saves them. I think he's involved in their antics. :-)

A great giveaway!

Jackie at CantonVillage Quilt Works is having a wonderful giveaway - visit her blog for all the details - you don't want to miss this one. :-)

Summer Strip Challenge

Hanne has issued a Summer Strip Challenge (keep your clothes on - this is about your Jelly Roll strips LOL)

Summer Stash Challenge

Eileen has issued a Summer Stash Challenge - using up what we have in our stash closets, drawers, containers, etc. :-)

Finish Five by End of July

Peg at Happy Quilting has issued a Finish Five by End of July Challenge

Naturally, I popped into Jackie's blog and entered her fabulous giveaway. Then I considered all three Summer challenges. Guess which one I decided to sign up for? You're correct if you guessed "Finish Five by End of July". If you read my blog on a regular basis (and I hope you do) then you know that my pile of flimsies waiting to be quilted is completely out of control. I must start focusing on quilting those flimsies (repeat three times) LOL
My mom is coming tomorrow to visit for two weeks so my blogging time may be a bit limited. Then again, I may need to blog for some sanity. LOL
As always I thank you for popping in to visit and to share a smile or two! Please come again soon.
In Friendship!

Thanks for posting about our Summer Stash Challenge in your blog. :) I did pop over to look at Peg's.. you are one gutzy gal! Wow..that is only a little over one week to finish each quilt. I could maybe do that if all I had to do was the binding! :) Good luck to you.. this will be a fun challenge to follow along!

I am going to be watching for those five finished projects. Maybe one of your little helpers you've hung on a peg should be let loose to help you out.

I am totally worn out reading about all these challenges! Yikes! I should join Peg's, as I am on my way to finishing 5 quilts by the end of July, but I'm afraid putting pressure on myself will bog me down. Does that make sense? Anyhoo, I am proud of you for joining Peg's challenge. You can do it!! I bet the wascally wabbits aren't still hanging around waiting to be rescued, are they? H'moosies!!!
