Cleaning, Schnibbles & Christmas

(a very productive week)

Lest you think I've been sitting around doing nothing while this blog has been sitting idle. It's been a very productive week in my little corner of the world.

I spent several days cleaning and decluttering my sewing room. There's still some work to be done but I'm ecstatic with the results of my hard work. :-)

With a clean cutting area I was ready to jump into this month's Another Year of Schnibbles project Dimestore. Nothing like waiting till the last minute - LOL With encouragement from my CTTY partner in crime, Cheryl, I got it done. woohoo!!!!

I love Carrie's version of Dimestore so I, too, used Urban Cowgirl to make mine. Not very creative but I'm a happy girl. LOL (someday I'll take a straight picture-LOL)

The Christmas Through The Year Train is pulling into it's next stop - August 31. Bear in mind there are less than four months until Christmas. I hope that Cheryl's and my encouragement has paid off and you made one (or two) Christmas gifts this month. I did get one Christmas gift done but I can't show it yet - I promise I will soon. I keep encouraging you and yet I'm accomplishing next to nothing - September promises to be different because I'm planning to focus on Christmas gifts and projects. Stay tuned! :-)

I appreciate your visit - come again soon.

Enjoy a pieceful day.

In Friendship!

Good morning All! I fooled myself and am ready to post my August gift! It is called "Little Coins" and is part of Kathleen Tracy's Small Quilt Challenge.

You did a great job cleaning your sewing room, mine will never look that clean. Your new quilt is fantastic. I finished one Christmas gift and almost 2 but I'll save it for next month. I hope my name is drawn :-)

You? Sitting idle? I think not! Your clean sewing space inspires me to start a new project. Sadly, MY sewing space does not look like that. I guess I shouldn't just sweep everything to the floor, huh? Carrie keeps churning out great patterns, doesn't she? Have you seen her newest ones using the Moda Candy? Your Dimestore looks great in that line! One more Christmas gift in the box - yay!

Another good month for Christmas Through the Year, my Christmas gifts box is growing. Because my blog had a name change this month, my first Linky did not go through, you may want to delete it. Hugs

Love the quilt. Who says we have to be original all the time? It is getting to that time when sneak peeks or no peeks are the go for Christmas gifts, still you are getting them done :)

Check you out girl, burning up that sewing machine, LOL :) Good job getting your Dimestore finished so quickly, very cute. Just added my name for Christmas Through the Year.

Your Dimestore Schnibble is beautiful! I liked Carrie's version too, but I just made a project with my Urban Cowgirl fabric or else that's how I would have made mine too :-) I think you made a great choice! If your happy that's what matters :-)
