AYOS & CTTY

"Listen to the whispers of your heart"
My new favorite quote I found on Pinterest.
So, I did and took a tiny quilting and blogging break.
It's time to show my completion for the month of October for Another Year of Schnibbles hosted by Sinta and Sherri.  We had the option to make Hubble or Bounce.  I was super excited when this was announced because I'd already made Bounce back in July.  WooHoo!  I used Hello Luscious and Bella white both by Moda.

Bounce by Miss Rosie's Quilt Co.
made with Luscious by Moda

Here we are on Halloween talking about Christmas.  LOL  It's really difficult to believe that Christmas is less than 2 months away.  Cheryl's been really diligent about posting ideas and tutorials on a very regular basis hoping to help you get those gifts made early so you can have a stress-free holiday season.  I've nagged you quite a bit, although, lately I've been a bit quieter.  LOL
The Christmas Through the Year Christmas Train is pulling into it's next stop - October 31.  If you've made a gift or two during the month of October please add your name/blog to Mr Linky.  Don't forget you're eligible to win a prize from Cheryl and she'll post a winner in a day or two.

I hope your days have been pieceful.

Don't forget to
"Listen to the whispers of your heart".

In Friendship!

Just a few stockings for my charity project. But, things are looking up for Christmas this year overall. Thanks for the encouragement.

That is the perfect reminder as things begin to speed up in preparations for the holidays! In fact, it's a good reminder for every day! I am sharing it with our girl who is feeling overwhelmed this week. I am excited to add my Dirt Road Gypsy quilt to my pile of Christmas gifts this month! I have long outgrown the box! LOL. Thank you so much for keeping us on 'track'. :) It'll be a busy November, as more gifts need to be checked off.

After the whirlwind of sewing and blogging you've done the past several months, a tiny break is expected :) Hope you enjoyed it. Love your Bounce!

I love your Bounce! Great fabric choice! I ran out of time for CTTY, so only made one more coin purse!

Decided to link up to a quilt top that will be a Christmas gift this year. I make quilts all year long and haven't counted them as a Christmas Through the Year item, so there it is!

great finish! Awesome that you were so on the ball and got it done a few months in advance. :)

I think I will actually have a CTTY finish for November to share! How exciting!

OH Darlene...I think this is one of my favorite Schnibbles. It's beautiful and it's fun at the same time. Wouldn't it be cool to have a bedspread size quilt in this pattern? Wow..lots of work. Of course, my next bedspread is going to be my Swoon done with the Nine Dots collection (I know I already told you that, but as soon as the holidays are over, I'm going to get started on my Swoon. Yeah!!! I also saw a wonderful pattern in an issue of BHG's American Patchwork Magazine that is a Giant Shoo Fly Block. Each block is 36" and though it may sound boring to some folks, I'm completely smitten with it. It really is a fun quilt and that is one for next year too. Should work up pretty fast eh? LOL Big Hugs....
