Is there Christmas decorating going on at your house?
Or have you finished and now you're sitting back enjoying your Christmas treasures?
What do you prefer when you decorate; a specific theme i.e. snowmen or do you mix it up?
My friend, Wendy, likes to decorate with snowmen and trees.

I used to collect Santas. I don't have as many as I used to but I still enjoy using them here and there. This was at my house several years ago.
My favorite thing to do is to decorate my kitchen with Gingebread boys and girls.
I found this large cup with the accessories about seven years ago and it always graces our kitchen table.
I haven't done much decorating this year but I did pick up a couple of new snowmen.
Snowmen and Santas are available in abundance but the G-Men (gingerbread men) are elusive.
That makes me a bit sad :-(
I'd love it if you would share your thoughts and ideas about Christmas decorating.

I too have a hard time finding gingerbread men...love them! But I do love snowmen! Love that mug and cookie!! It's a keeper!

So funny...I started collecting Santas, then switched to snowmen. Hope you have a joyful Christmas!
Sadly, haven't even started yet. I'm hoping to get the tree up this Sunday. It's our only free weekend day before Christmas. Other than a tree and a few wallhangings, I don't do much decorating at all. Merry Christmas Darlene!

I mix it up and every year is a little different. Everything is decorated except the tree.

I don't do much decorating because I don't have the room to store the stuff. Mostly I enjoy decorating with quilts :)
I havent even started yet, but I have great plans for the weekend.

G-men--that's hilarious! I like poinsettias and anything handmade. Our tree has lots of handmade ornies from the kids when small through mini stockings I made with our names. Which reminds me, my hubby doesn't have one!
Hi Darlene! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the snowman and I have a few Santas but my decorations are truly a mix...not just one theme.
I do have one gingerbread boy and one girl (stuffed) that sit on top of my kitchen cabinets... I love them too.

Your decorations are so pretty! I do no decorating in CA, and I left my little two foot tree sitting on a table when I left the South last year. So it'll be all ready when I get there next week. LOL.

No decor here this year. Haven't even been out and about to see what's out there. Enjoy your holidays...just popped in real quick from DH hospital room. We have Internet here and not at the house yet.
