Polka Dot Girls

I'm on the mend - not 100% but better than I was earlier this week. Last night while watching three Law and Order episodes I finished stitching another Polka Dot Girl(s) block.

Wendy has finished her 9 patch quilt - you must visit her blog and take a peek. It's stunning! Yes, I'm going to repeat myself - sorry, bear with me! Last August I asked Wendy if she would like to exchange 3" finished 9 patch blocks and lucky for me she excitedly agreed. Now, we each have a wonderful quilt filled with a memories to share for years to come. I've participated in block swaps in the past but never a one-on-one swap and I much prefer the one-on-one version. If you have an opportunity to do something like this with a far away friend, I highly recommend it.

Thank you for all the get well wishes - I appreciate your kind words! And, do stop by to visit again!

In Friendship!

I really want to do the Polka Dot Girls. Do you get the pattern in the states or order it from Aus. I am so happy you are starting to feel better. Have a great Easter.

Hope you are much better now. Nothing worse than feeling like you are going to die, and then afraid you won't! Your work is beautiful, and PDG's are enchanting.

I see that Beth asked the same question I was wondering. I've done a little internet searching, but haven't found a US distributor. I can tell I am lining up for a serious Bronwyn Hayes addiction! Hoping to find it in Paducah in a few weeks, and have a couple like candidate vendors. If not, I'll have to succumb via international shipping!

I am very pleased you are feeling "sew" much better, my friend!! Your PDG is adorable. I think your swap with Wendy turned out wonderfully well for both of you! It is a great idea!

Hey Sweetie, are you doing your PDG all in red? Like 497 dmc? Just curious. I have begun working on Miss Louise. She is my favourite. I love chooks! Did a search on your blog last nite to see if you had stitched her name out. I then checked Wendy's and decided that I was going to copycat you guys! ;o)
