JAM or
Prim Style times Two

I do enjoy the primitive style stitchery patterns by JoAnn Mullaly - available at The Country Loft. I'd love to own every stitchery pattern that she has designed and my dream is to visit The Country Loft and hopefully meet her. Can you imagine the serious shopping I could do. Oh my! Could happen - dreams do come true! :-)

I spent a few days doing the stitchery on "Here Comes Santa" and I'll do finishing touches this week. Need to applique three stars overlapping the open area and borders and those shouldn't take long. Some simple quilting, binding and done.

And, I've finished "The Four Seasons" stitchery quilt that I've had the pleasure of enjoying this year! Yes, another JoAnn Mullaly pattern. I've received and enjoyed lots of block of the month patterns but this one had me captivated from the start. I was diligent with this project. My envelope would arrive every month from The Country Loft, I'd immediately get the stitchery done and assemble the block and then wait patiently to repeat the following month. :-)

I hope that you and yours had an enjoyable Thanksgiving holiday week end. My little family and I did. I can hardly believe that November is now over, soon Christmas will be here and gone and the year will come to an end, too. Where does the time go?

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit with me and my little blog. I appreciate it more than I can ever express via the written word.

In Friendship!

Oh you've reminded me I need to get my Four Seasons done...I have really enjoyed that one. I can't believe December is here. Where oh where did this year go? Maybe Santa will bring us an extra month this year...LOL!

Love Santa's "plaid" suit. I love stitchery and used to do it once upon a time and got away from it. Seeing all these wonderful stitcheries makes me want to take it up again.

What a great job! I give you lots of credit for keeping up with it. I started a BOM in Jan and I think I have 3 blocks. Such is life when you have too many hobbies vying for time! Either way I love to look at your finished quilts. Beautiful!

Well Miss Darlene you got me up out of my chair and on a hunt!! How could we be finished with the Four Seasons? I had to go looking for packets! I'm behind in this one since embroidery is the fastest way to ruin my arm and finger so I've had to portion out the time doing it...but I hadn't realized the end of the 4 seasons had come. SO out of the chair to make sure I have my packets!

I'm doing the summer words next, but I have the fall house and bird waiting...but I haven't gotten my fall words yet!! Did they just arrive? I remember beth?? saying she just got her last package so maybe they are on their way.

It's gorgeous, as is the Santa. I love Joann's work too!

I love her stuff too, I have a few pieces of it, and I just acquired a couple more of them when I was down there there other day. I am way behind on the Four Seasons stitchery, I was very good when I started getting it and finished Winter up, but right now I am *barely* finishing Summer, I still need to assemble Spring.

Your stitchery projects are great. You really have had a lot going this past year.
Darlene, just get out that bike and pedal to Country Loft. It is a whole lot closer than pedaling to Florida to see me.
